The 2010 PPI Executive Seminar will convene a small delegation of senior pension fund and other institutional investor executives for a series of in-depth discussions on the economies of Hong Kong, the Greater Pearl River Delta Region, and Mainland China. The program will begin with dinner on Sunday, October 24, and will continue with two and a half days of sessions led by noted experts on the region from business, government, the media, and the academy. Discussions will include economic prospects for the region, capital market structure and financial services, alternative investments and real estate, and political relations between Hong Kong, the Mainland, and Taiwan.
In addition to meetings and discussion in Hong Kong, the PES delegates will participate in a field trip to Shenzhen, where the delegation will visit two local companies on the very cutting edge of Chinese entrepreneurialism. This visit will offer insight and in-depth understanding of how Chinese firms are positioning themselves to compete both domestically and globally in the 21st century.
Participation in the PES program is limited. Registrants from plan sponsors, endowments, and sovereign funds receive preference. Remaining seats will be made available to other PPI members.
