PPI’s 2010 Summer Roundtable, with on-campus host the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), will take as its focus the outlook for the US economy and the implications of the crisis, and its aftermath, for America’s role as global economic and political leader. The program will look at several key themes, including prospects for regulatory reform, the health of the dollar, the US fiscal position, and the changing nature of competition in technology. In addition, the program will feature discussion of capital markets in Asia with senior executives from two major exchanges. The program will feature a continuation of the Winter Roundtable’s dialogue on asset allocation, closing with an interactive discussion led by pension fund and endowment investment executives.
