Robert M. Maynard, chief investment officer of the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) and member of PPI"s Board of Directors received a lifetime achievement award from Money Management Letter at the online news provider's 9th Annual Public Pension Fund Awards for Excellence ceremony on March 1, 2010. Mr. Maynard was formerly the deputy executive director of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation. He was also assistant attorney general for the State of Alaska, where he served as counsel for the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation and the Alaska Public Employees’ and Teachers’ Retirement Systems. Mr. Maynard holds a bachelor’s degree from Claremont Men’s College (now Claremont McKenna College) and a J.D. from the University of
California, Davis.
