Marsha Vande-Berg
Chief Executive Officer
Marsha Vande-Berg serves as chief executive officer of the Pacific Pension Institute (PPI). Dr. Vande-Berg is a former Bosch Public Policy Fellow of the American Academy, Berlin. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Council’s National Program Committee. She is also a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the Pacific Council for International Policy, and she serves as PPI’s representative on the Advisory Board of the RAND Center for Asia Pacific Policy. Dr. Vande-Berg holds a Ph.D. in international studies from Vanderbilt University, and a master’s in international studies from Duke University.

Gwen Bough
Assistant to the Chief Executive
Gwen Bough is the administration officer and assistant to the chief executive for the Pacific Pension Institute. Ms. Bough joined PPI in January of 2008 after 12 years as executive secretary to the founding president of Public Policy Institute of California. Previously, she worked at Bank of America as senior executive secretary to the general counsel and at Mellon Bank, Pittsburgh as executive assistant to the Chairman of the Board.

Heidi Young
Program Director
Heidi Young is the program director for the Pacific Pension Institute where she is responsible for conceptualizing, researching and developing PPI programs. Previously, Ms. Young was a consultant focusing on economic development and public policy issues. Ms. Young holds a bachelor’s degree in government and economics from Smith College and a master’s degree in public policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. |

Sabina Ong Gotuaco
Finance & Administration/Human Resource Director
Sabina Gotuaco is the finance and administration/human resource director for the Pacific Pension Institute. She brings with her experience from over 25 years of work in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Her background in Finance and Human Relations spans such diverse industries as insurance, banking, technology, religion, and education. She holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of the East, as well as a bachelor's degree in Human Relations and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University.

Kris Greenville
Membership Officer & Communications Director
Kris Greenville is the membership officer and communications director for the Pacific Pension Institute where he is responsible for contributing content, editing and producing PPI’s electronic and printed communications materials. Mr. Greenville’s previous positions have included membership director for Copia in Napa, California and manager for the American Red Cross, Bay Area Chapter. Mr. Greenville holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Administrative Assistant
Katherine Song is the administrative assistant for the Pacific Pension Institute where she is responsible for programs, communications/outreach, and executive support . She holds a bachelor’s degree in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley. |
